SPENCER WOMAN SENTENCED TO PRISON FOR EMBEZZLING $800,000 FROM HILDRETH ENTERPRISES

(11/23/2013)
A Spencer woman has been sentenced to two years in a federal prison for embezzling more than $800,000 from her employer Kimco Inc., an oil and gas enterprise operated by Roy G. Hildreth and Son, Inc.

60-year-old Rosalie J. Seabolt, a bookkeeper at the company for 25 years, had plead guilty to the offense.

U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin says Seabolt was also ordered to make full restitution.

Federal prosecutors say that from September 2000 through December 2012, Seabolt wrote unauthorized checks to herself from Kimco's bank accounts.
