CLAY AUTHORITIES CHARGE MAN FOR SEXUALLY ASSAULTING TWO CHILDREN

A Charleston man, Kevin Ray Bryant, 25, has been arrested by the WV State Police related to sexual assaults on a five-year-old female and ten-year-old female, multiple incidents happening at a residence in Clay County. The criminal complaint issued by officer Robert R. Cervera describes overt details of the sexual assaults on the juveniles. State Police say Bryant has admitted to the offenses, which the complaint says happened in May, 2013. Bryant was in Central Regional Jail with bond set at $250,000, being charged with sexual assault, first degree. The charges have a jail sentence of not less than 25 years and a fine not less than $5,000 nor more than $25,000. A Braxton County woman has been charged with malicious assault/battery with wounding. Amanda Rae Roberts, 25, is in Central Regional Jail, with bond yet to be posted.
