MAN SHOT DURING ROBBERY - Roy Roe Jr. of Hernshaw sustained serious injuries, shot in the head, during a shooting incident at his home, State Police said.

The victim said three men forced their way into his residence, robbed him and then shot him. He is hospitalized and expected to survive.

State Police said they have a person of interest in the shooting, which they believe is related to an earlier altercation that happened in Charleston.

CHARLESTON MAN SHOT - Charleston police had a male suspect in custody after a shooting on the city's West Side.

The victim was reportedly shot in the leg and taken to a Charleston hospital, where he is expected to recover.

The suspect reportedly took off, but police were able to catch up with him. He was still armed.

Dana Stevenson, 21, of Buffalo, N.Y., is suspected of shooting the man, trying to rob the victim of his jewelry.

Police say they found numerous shell casings in the area where the shooting happened.
