Heartwood in the Hills fall program is well underway with
students of all ages involved in art, dance, theatre, and

In early October, Heartwood was host to dancers from the Charleston based "Academy of Arts at January's" for a day-long workshop conducted by Heartwood Artistic Director Jude Binder and Faculty member Gina Burns.

The "Academy of the Arts at January's" is a school of dance founded by January Johnson Wolfe in 1986. She has an outstanding reputation for instilling and sharing the love of dance to all ages.

Also in October Artistic Director Jude Binder performed in her new mask "Golden Autumn" at Charleston's FestivALL Fall.

Heartwood offers 12-weeks of classes in art, maskmaking, dance, theatre and movement each spring and fall. Heartwood also offers a Performing Arts Programs intended for students who are interested in learning to perform. The spring program will begin in March.

Information about classes offered will be released in February. Heartwood's class fees are low and financial assistance is available based upon need.
