SOCIAL SECURITY RECIPIENTS GETTING 1.5% INCREASE |
| (10/31/2013) |
| Social Security benefits will increase 1.5 percent in January. The Social Security increase will give millions of retired and disabled workers an average raise of $19 a month. The report says the increase is among the smallest since automatic adjustments were adopted in 1975. The small increase is down since consumer prices haven't gone up.
