GRANTSVILLE FIREMEN SAVE BROOMSTICK DWELLING

Grantsville VFD firemen were able to bring a fire under control that was threatening a modular home on Broomstick Road Monday afternoon. The fire broke out under the home of Carl Osborne at 3:30 p.m., with the fire spreading underneath the house and traveling up a wall of the structure. While there was some damage to the dwelling, the structure and contents were saved. Minnie Hamilton EMS also responded to the scene. It was the third fire that struck the county since Friday night.
