WV KNIFE AND GUN CLUB - Morgantown Has Eight Armed Robberies

MON COUNTY PLAGUED BY HOLD-UPS - Eight separate armed robberies have taken place in less than three weeks in the Morgantown area NO one's been arrested yet.

The last incident took place Sunday night at the Express Mart, the second time it's been robbed since the beginning of October.

The scenarios have similarities with half of them at convenience stores, multiple men were involved in most cases, and a gun was used in all but one.

Police don't believe all the cases are related, but it's possible some of them are.

Business owners and local residents are starting to worry about being caught in the wrong place at the wrong time.

MORGANTOWN STABBING - West Virginia State Police responded to a stabbing in Morgantown Saturday where two males were fighting at Marjorie Gardens when another male tried to break up the fight.

State Police said Brian Staten attempted to stop the other two men from fighting when Adam Aronhalt got out a knife and began swinging it.

State Police said Aronhalt stabbed Staten in the arm three times.

Aronhalt was taken into custody and was charged with unlawful wounding.

MORGANTOWN ARMED ROBBERY - Morgantown Police are investigating an armed robbery just before 4 a.m. Sunday.

According to police, three males approached two people and hit one of them with a gun and took his wallet and cell phone.

The three fled the area on foot prior to officers arriving on scene.
