Marlow Eugene Parsons, 72 - Spencer

Marlow Eugene Parsons, 72, of Spencer, West Virginia died October 14, 2013 at his home.

He was born May 4, 1941 in Calhoun County, West Virginia a son of the late Marlow Washington and Alma Stump Parsons. He worked at Rader's Recapping and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his wife, Rachel Parsons; three daughters, Mary Ann Parsons, Martha Jane Browning and Irene Parsons, all of Spencer; three sons, Marlow Parsons, Jr. and Billy Joe Parsons, both of Spencer, and Robert Paul Parsons, of Wooster, Ohio; two step-daughters, Casey and Loretta Casto, both of Spencer; one step-son, Brandon Casto of Spencer; three sisters, Idonna Jones of Rosedale, West Virginia, Ruth Gillespie of Burnsville, West Virginia, and Susan Suttle of Spencer; three brothers, Albert and Jesse Nicholas, both of Gandeeville, West Virginia, and Bernard Nicholas of Spencer; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Cindy Husk Parsons.

Service 11:00 am Friday, October 18, 2013 at the TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME, Spencer, with Rev. Jackie Roberts officiating. Burial will be in the Rosedale Cemetery. Visitation is two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
