Geneva Sturm Hall, 66 - Parkersburg

Geneva Sturm Hall, 66, of Parkersburg, West Virginia, passed away Oct. 12, 2013, after her lifelong battle with COPD.

She was born in Calhoun County, W.Va., on Sept. 2, 1947. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Geraldine Sturm.

"Mama Hall" retired from Nashua Photo. She was the owner and operator of Aunt Sissy Day Care.

She is survived by her husband, Franklin S. Hall Sr.; one son, Franklin S. Hall Jr. of Parkersburg; one daughter, Annette F. Wigal of Corydon Ind.; two sisters, Eula Mae Murphy of Calhoun County and Jerry Kerby of Parkersburg; three granddaughters, Sara, Kaylee and Jaci Hall, with another grandchild and great-grandchild on the way. She was also a mother to two nieces and one nephew, Tammy Francis of South Carolina, Heather Sherrod of Charleston, W.Va., and Holly "Bucky" Kerby of South Carolina.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several aunts, uncles, brother and sisters-in-law.

The funeral service will be Wednesday beginning at 3 p.m. at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
