Pastors Rick Metheney and David Weaver

The Calhoun Cooperative Parish of the United Methodist Church, consisting of twelve United Methodist churches in Calhoun County came together at the Calhoun County Park in celebration of World Communion Sunday, October 6th.

This is a day that several Christian denominations observe as a day of celebration of God's love and grace through His Son Jesus Christ.

Hot dogs were roasted over the fire and covered dishes with some great desserts were enjoyed by all.

Pastor David Weaver and Pastor Rick Metheney shared a devotional along with the congregation joining in singing old-time hymns.

The highlight of the evening was being invited by God's grace to come to His table to partake in Holy Communion.
