| GIRLS VOLLEYBALL WINS OVER ROANE, LOSES TO WIRT
By Angie Hersman Calhoun High School Varsity Volleyball girls traveled to Roane County on Tuesday evening for a LKC Tri with Roane and Wirt County. CHS defeated Roane 2-0, while losing a close one with Wirt 1-2. CHS JV and Varsity will play at home on Thursday vs St. Marys with JV starting at 6 p.m. CHS Varsity will travel to Charleston Catholic on Saturday for a 12 team tournament beginning at 9 a.m. CHS defeats Roane 25-17, 25-20 Stephanie Hall 13 points (2 aces), 7 kills, 3 assists; Savannah Rogers 4 points, 2 assists; Autumn Blair 7 points (1 ace), 4 kills; Bailie Cain 4 points, 1 kill; Amanda Carter 7 points; Megan Barton 11 points, 56/58; and Kenzie Hicks 4 points, 4 kills. CHS defeated by Wirt 25-15, 15-25, 23-25 Stephanie Hall 10 points, 2 blocks, 5 kills, 2 assists; Savannah Rogers 10 points (2 aces), 1 block, 1 kill; Autumn Blair 8 points, 3 kills, 3 assists; Bailie Cain 6 points, 3 blocks, 4 kills; Amanda Carter 10 points (1 ace); Megan Barton 12 points (1 ace), 59/60; and Kenzie Hicks 7 points (1 ace), 1 block, 4 kills, 3 assists.
