C.A. Minney, 73 - Orma

C.A. Minney, 73, passed away October 7, 2013 at Miletree Health Center in Spencer.

Born at Orma, WV, Calhoun County, May 15, 1940, he was a son of the late Ira and Myrtle Hess Siers Minney. He was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church of Orma, WV.

C.A. was a US Army Veteran, a farmer and was employed for several years in the timber business prior to a timber accident in October 19, 1984.

Surviving are his sister, Darlie Schoolchraft of Dalton, OH and a half brother, George Siers of Conneautville, PA, as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Waneta Sue Minney, daughter, Patty Jane Minney Little, half brothers, Renis, Ressie and Oye (stillborn) Minney, half brothers, Arnold B. and Arno Creed Siers, half sisters, Cressie, Ruth (stillborn), Rena, Ina and Ena Minney.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm, Friday October 11, 2013 at the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Orma WV with Elder George Rose officiating.

Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery.
