Beverly was retired from Marshall University after 25 years of service in administrative positions of various departments. She was particularly fond of her years as a secretary in the Marshall University football department and was forever a Thundering Herd promoter and fan.

While attending Marshall University, Beverly was an accomplished majorette winning several state and regional awards for her baton twirling. In college, she was a member of ALPHA XI DELTA Sorority. Beverly was a member of Fifth Avenue Baptist Church. She enjoyed tennis and duplicate bridge.

Beverly is survived by her sister, Mrs. Norma Cain Long of Romney WV; her daughter, Brenda Bunch Gorman (John) of Charlottesville VA; son William Garland "W.G." Bunch Jr. (Tracy) of Huntington; three grandchildren, Zachary Gorman, Brooke Irby and Blake Irby.

Beverly has been interred at Bethlehem Cemetery in Grantsville WV in a private ceremony with Stump Funeral Home in charge of the services.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at the chapel of Fifth Avenue Baptist Church in Huntington. The family will receive well-wishers at 5:00 pm with a memorial service beginning at 6:00 pm. Donations may be made in her name to Cabell County Community Services Organization, 724 10th Ave. Huntington, WV 25701.
