BRAXTON PAIR CHARGED WITH METH OPERATION - Calhoun Man Charged With Sexual Abuse

A couple is in Central Regional Jail after they were apparently making meth near children in their Flatwoods home.

Police said Kayla Michelle Hamner, 22, and Jesse David Moats, 23, had been under investigation for using another persons credit card.

When police went to their home early Saturday morning, according to the complaint, they discovered a meth lab, with alleged exposure to a child.

Moats is charged with operating or attempting to operate a meth lab, child abuse with risk of serious injury, exposure of meth manufacturing to a child, forgery, fraudulent use of a credit card and conspiracy.

Hamner is charged with operating or attempting to operate a meth lab, child abuse with risk of serious injury, exposure of meth manufacture to a child, and conspiracy.

Bond has not been set.

A Calhoun man has been arrested for child abuse with injury by parent or guardian and sexual abuse by parent or guardian.

Corey Lee Metheney (left) age 33, is in Central Regional Jail, with bond not yet set.

Also charged and incarcerated from Calhoun is Brooke Dewayne Meredith, 32, charged with driving on a revoked license. Bond set at $3,500.
