Danny Christ, 69 - Reedy

Danny Christ, 69, of Reedy, West Virginia, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2013 at the Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston, West Virginia. He was born December 1, 1943 in Akron, Ohio, a son of Charles Christ of Akron and the late Edna Rogers Christ. He was a mechanic and attended the Reedy Methodist Church. In addition to his father, Danny is survived by his wife, Connie Cottle Christ; a son, Ron Christ of Vienna, West Virginia; two brothers, Jim Christ of Akron and Dean Christ of Waverly Hall, Georgia; two grandchildren, Sabrina and Olivia Christ; and three close friends, Eric Barr, Joey Myers, and Steve Currey. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a son, Roger D. Christ. Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer, West Virginia, with Rev. Larry Jones officiating. Burial will follow at the Board Cemetery in Reedy. Visiting will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
