Plans have been made to participate in the annual Halloween Celebration in Grantsville by serving free hot dogs to the children. Candy will also be given away. This is one of the community projects the Auxiliary participates in several each year.

The Auxiliary holds their monthly meeting in the Auxiliary room of the VFW at 6:00 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month. The ladies are encouraging members who have not been attending to come to see what projects the Auxiliary is participating in with and our service to our veterans for their service to our County. Without their protection and defending the morals of the Ten Commandments of human rights, our country would not have the freedoms we now enjoy.

With our present government passing so many regulations about everything we have, own or do, we may not be able to enjoy these freedoms much longer...and the country will no longer be the land of the free, even though we still are the home of the brave.

The Auxiliary has also been helping veterans when we have been advised that help is needed...as that is one of our duties and, as long as we have financial income, will continue.
