STARCHER SENTENCED 1-10 FOR CONCEALING STOLEN PROPERTY

A man who has had multiple residences in Roane, Calhoun and other counties has been sentenced to 1-10 years after he plead guilty earlier this year to a charge of concealing stolen property.

Robert Allen Starcher, 29, has been serving time for previous charges.

Starcher, well-known to authorities for crimes he has committed in Braxton, Calhoun, Ritchie and Roane counties, was sentenced by Judge Thomas Evans III.

Starcher has been extradited twice from Alabama, once following being accidentally released from Central Regional Jail.
