She was born July 30, 1941, a daughter of the late Elhanon W. and Nellie M. Coberly Propst.

She survived a battle with polio as a child and it gave her a deep desire to care for others. She served others at the Greenlawn Nursing Center, Shady Rest Nursing Home and for 13 years worked as a health aide with the Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department.

Surviving are her daughter, Barbara Propst of Vienna; one brother, Charles Propst and his wife, Patricia, of Oxford, AL; and her companion, Jack Kimble of Vienna.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Eula Propst; and two brothers, Joseph Propst and Robert Propst.

Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at the Bethlehem Cemetery in Grantsville, WV. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Grand Central Avenue, Vienna.
