Karen Fisher, 47 - Weston

Karen Fisher age 47 of Weston, West Virginia, departed this life on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia following an unexpected illness.

Born May 10, 1966 in Cleveland, Ohio, daughter of Raymond and Margaret Green Olah of Lorain, Ohio.

Karen was a member of the Rainbow Girls where she was soloist, an Installing Officer, she held a Grand Floor office, she was also a Mother Advisor for the Rainbow Girls. Karen was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Queen City Chapter #66, Girl Scout leader, member of the Lorain Police Auxiliary, president of Family Support Group for Gulf War Reserve Units, Order of the Eastern Star Weston Chapter #40 and a member of the Dawson Baptist Church. She enjoyed the outdoors, camping, football, and Nascar.

On November 5, 1988 she was united in marriage to Albert Fisher who survives at their Weston home; one brother survives, Brian Olah and wife Erin of New Albaney, Ohio.

Funeral Services will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary Inc., 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV 26351 at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday September 3, 2013 with Pastor George Rose officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedarville Cemetery in Cedarville, WV. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Monday evening at the mortuary.

Ellyson Mortuary Inc. is assisting the family of Karen Fisher with arrangements.
