SON STABS FATHER - Police say Donald McDaniel got into a fight with his father at a house in St. Albans and stabbed his father twice in the leg and ran off into the woods.
Deputies obtained a warrant for McDaniel for malicious wounding.
McDaniel was found walking along a road and when deputies picked him up he was exhibiting signs of having a drug overdose.
Both men were taken to the hospital.
STOLEN GUNS - State Police in Logan County have arrested two men they say stole guns.
Police say Coty Walker and Michael Lafferty of Logan burglarized a home in Mingo County this week, stealing $1,600 worth of firearms.
Troopers say they sold a shotgun to a man in Spice Creek.
"It appears they both have a severe drug addiction to prescription medication," Trooper James Harris said. "We're looking into what other unsolved investigations as far as burglaries or other larcenies these two may have been involved in." |
