WV KNIFE AND GUN CLUB - Woman Stabs Ex-Boyfriend, His Girlfriend

DOUBLE STABBING - Charleston police arrested Kerry Harvey, 42, after she stabbed her ex-boyfriend Gary Turpin, 57, of Charleston and his new girlfriend Alice Early, 49.

Police said Harvey went to her former boyfriend's residence where two children she had with Turpin were present with his new girlfriend.

"She went to the residence and confronted Turpin. She produced a knife and stabbed Turpin in the chest and Miss Early in the lower back," said Charleston Police.

Turpin is in the intensive care unit of the Charleston Area Medical Center General Division. He's in serious but stable condition. Early is also hospitalized in stable condition. Her wounds were not believed to be life threatening.

Harvey then fled the home with the two children after the stabbings, and was caught a short time later by police.

She has been charged with attempted murder and malicious wounding.

SHOOTING VICTIM WANTED - Police in Charleston say a fugitive wanted in Michigan, accidentally shot himself in the groin, is out of the hospital and behind bars.

Police say they found heroin on Ladaren Mixon when he was dropped off at the hospital.

Mixon has been charged with possession of a controlled substance.
