TURNER AND CHURCH TO SPEAK AT WV HERB ASSOCIATION FALL FESTIVAL

The West Virginia Herb Association is pleased that Dr. June Turner PhD, ND (left) a resident of Glenville West Virginia will be speaking on the medicinal health benefits of local herbs at the Annual Fall Conference of the West Virginia Herb Association" states Melissa Dennison, President of the WVHA. "We are also delighted to have Bill Church, certified WV Master Naturalist and Herbalist present "The Diversity of Plants in West Virginia.".

Dr. Turner is a world renowned provider of Alternative Health Care, Doctor of Christian Counseling, and Public Lecturer. She has won the prestigious Cambridge Who's Who in the World Executive Award for 2008 and 2009 as the Most Outstanding Alternative Health Provider. Dr. Turner will discuss medicinal health benefits of local herbs, recognition of some of these herbs, and how to use these valuable resources to promote health. When asked for a quote, Dr. Turner responded: "God can heal anything - and I work for him."

Naturalist Bill Church has written and published "Medicinal Plants, Trees & Shrubs of Appalachia" which lists 105 plants from the region. He has trained with Tom Brown, world renowned tracker in tracking and wilderness survival and has studied bird language, wildlife habits and herbal medicine.
