Louanna M. Johnson, 84, of Spencer, West Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Hubbard Hospice House West at Thomas Memorial Hospital in South Charleston, West Virginia. She was born August 11, 1929 in Greenbrier County, West Virginia, was a homemaker and attended the Mt. Herman Community Church. She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Pares of Norfolk, Virginia; four sons, Terry Simms of Spencer, Gary Johnson of Ohio, Steve Johnson of Gandeeville, West Virginia, and Harry Joe Johnson, residence unknown; a sister, Louise of Ohio; and several grand and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Johnson; and a son, Bobby Simms. A graveside service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at the Clover Cemetery with Rev. Richard Rhodes officiating. Per Louanna's request, there will be no viewing or visitation at the funeral home. Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer is in charge of the arrangements.
