PARK SHOOTING - State Police are investigating a shooting at Morris Park in Marion County Thursday, where a man drove to the park and reportedly self-inflicted a gunshot wound.

The man drove himself to the hospital, police say, leaving the weapon in the park.

Police have closed the park.

PARK SHOOTING - A man is facing charges after police say he opened fire at Harris Riverfront Park in Huntington.

Billy Jack Ferguson, 30, of Crown City, fired two rounds from a semi-automatic pistol in an area where there were many people, according to police. He was arrested and charged with wanton endangerment, and being a person prohibited from possessing a firearm.

Huntington Police say Ferguson was convicted for felony drug trafficking in Gallia County, Ohio, in January 2011.

MARTINSBURG MAN MURDERS WIFE - A Berkeley County man is charged with murdering his wife, allegedly beating her to death with a hammer.

Rickie Greenfield, Jr., 29, is in the Eastern Regional Jail for the murder of his wife, turning himself in.
