WV-PSC 'CUTS AND RUNS' OVER AEP/FIRST ENERGY DUMPING MILLIONS ON RATEPAYERS - Calhoun's Haverty Tried To Hold Them Accountable

(08/29/2013)
The WV Public Service commission "cut and run," over AEP/First Energy trying to dump millons of dollars on un-recovered costs for their failed PATH project on WV rate payers.

Two WV citizens, Calhoun's Alison Haverty and Keryn Newman have been fighting PATH's bogus rate increases for the past four years with no help from either the WV PSC or the WV Consumer Advocat, says Bill Howley, an activist fighting for consumer rights with electric utilities.

AEP/FirstEnergy want at least $121 million in all from all rate payers in PJM Interconnection's region.

"One thing is certain, the WV-PSC doesn't care about our electric rates going up, said Howley who maintains the blog calhounpowerline.com
