UPDATE: STATE POLICE CHARGE COUNTY RESIDENTS WITH BRANDISHING WEAPONS

State Police arrested a Rowels Run teen after he allegedly fired-off a gun and assaulted family members during a family dispute.

Cpl. J. B. Hunt charged Jessie Walter Hart, 18, with two counts of domestic battery against his mother and 14-year-old brother, also charging him with brandishing a deadly weapon.

Following a 911 call, State Police charged a Nicut Road woman, Jennifer Sue Helmick, 30, with two counts of domestic assault and brandishing a deadly weapon.

Helmick, according to a criminal compliant filed by Cpl. J. B. Hunt, said that family members fled the house when the woman brandished a knife and a mattock while intoxicated.
