CHARLESTON TEEN SHOOTS CARS - Charleston police have arrested Clayton Deshawn Matheney, 18, for being involved in a pellet gun shooting spree earlier this month.

Police say Matheney shot out windows on numerous cars in the South Hills area, up to 14 cars, causing thousands of dollars of damage.

A juvenile who was in the car with Matheney on the night of the shootings told police Matheney was high on marijuana, Xanax and Klonopin as he drove around and shot the vehicles.

NITRO STABBING - A Huntington man, Samuel Scott Miller, 22, faces a charge of malicious wounding after getting into a fight and stabbing Marshall Sanders, 24, of Nitro about 2 a.m., according to Nitro Police Chief Brian Oxley.

Sanders was stabbed in the stomach and under his arms and Miller was also was hurt, both men taken to CAMC General Hospital.

Miller was charged with malicious wounding with bond was set at $50,000.
