Carl and Harriett Slider Sturm - 1943 Harriett Sturms, 86, of Rowles Run Road, Mt. Zion, West Virginia, passed away August 18, 2013 at Minnie Hamilton Health System of Grantsville. Born, February 3, 1927 in Calhoun County, she was a daughter of the late William "Bub" Slider and Lula Dell Adams Stout Slider. She is survived by her children; Harold R. (Reva) Sturms of Creston WV, Mary L. (Jr.) Brown of Mt. Zion and Greta V. (Dennis) Starcher of Annamoriah WV; 12 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Carl Sturms; an infant son; six sisters; and 1 brother. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 1:00 p.m. at the Cremo Community Church with Rev. Larry Bennett and Rev. Carl Marks officiating. Interment will follow in the Wright Cemetery. Friends may call at the Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday.
