GILMER YOUTH SUFFERS DROWNING EPISODE IN GLENVILLE

A boy, reported to be 14-years-old and suffering from Downs Syndrome, reportedly was involved in a drowning incident in Glenville and was taken to Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center. The incident was reported to Gilmer 911 at 3 p.m. The Gilmer County EMS Squad and the Gilmer VFD responded to the scene, according to Gilmer 911. Responders said the youth had "coded" and CRP was being administered on the way to the hospital. No other details available.
