Four Clay County residents have been charged by the West Virginia State Police with drug violations related to the possession of meth with intention to deliver, in addition to conspiracy charges.

Charged are Ronald Lee Boggs, 42; William Charles Wright, 31; Kimberly Ann Samples, 43; Crystal Lynn Burns, 31.

They are being held in Central Regional Jail with bond set at $60,000 each.

State Police on August 9 went to the Ronald Boggs residence on Cherokee Drive, Clay, after an anonymous tip of a wanted person being at the residence, according to the criminal complaint.

Police arrested William Wright who was wanted on a warrant in Braxton County, and discovered on the premise the presence of "five clear baggies containing a powdery substance believed to be meth."

The complaint says the officers obtained written consent to further search the residence, discovering "one other clear plastic baggie and several meth pipes with meth residue," after which the four subjects were arrested.
