ROANE-JACKSON TECHNICAL CENTER ENROLLING ADULT STUDENTS - Medical Office Technology-Specialized Programs

MEDICAL OFFICE TECHNOLOGY - Roane-Jackson Technical Center is now enrolling adult students in the Medical Office Technology Program. This one-year program explores the business side of the healthcare industry. Classes begin on August 15, 2013 and are available to anyone that has a high school diploma or GED. The program meets daily from 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Classes include Medical Office Procedures, Medical Coding, Computer Applications, Business Management, Medical Office Software, Medical Terminology, Accounting and Business Communications. Students will be eligible for on-the-job placement during the program to gain valuable work experience.

SECONDARY PROGRAMS - The Roane-Jackson Technical Center is now enrolling adult students in secondary programs. The school year will be beginning on August 15, 2013. The following programs are available:

Criminal Justice, Health Occupations, Computer Repair and Networking, ProStart Restaurant Management, Computer Aided Drafting, Child Care, Forestry/Ground Maintenance, Auto Mechanics, Building Construction.
