Calhoun women seek humane treatment for animals

Three Calhoun women are looking to start a Calhoun Humane Society to help "God's creatures." Janet Richards, Judith Yoak and Catherine Curry have a vision of starting a shelter and society program for the county. They have been active in a newly formed group in Ritchie Country.

They are seeking both private and public support for their vision, and will seek input from the Calhoun Commission on September 9.
