| Patricia Ann "Pat" Anderson, 69, of Spencer, died Wednesday, July 31, 2013, in the CAMC-Memorial Hospital, Charleston. She was born January 20, 1944 in Cincinnati. OH, a daughter of the late Walter George and Dorothy Mildred Carpenter Rupp. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Walter Rupp. Pat was a retired Registered Nurse. She was the former Head Nurse in the Emergency Department at Roane General Hospital, Spencer. She was a Marine Corps veteran. Also, she loved to read, was an avid Star Trek fan and an animal lover. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Stephen Michael and Debbie "Bobbi" Anderson of Spencer; daughter, Sandra Michele Johnson also of Spencer; two grandchildren, Dakota Patrick Johnson and Shyann Michele Anderson; one great grandson, Kason Kelly Anderson; two step grandchildren, Terri L. Toothman and Amanda G. Johnson. Four step great grandchildren, Brenlee S. McKown, Ryan J. Smith, Lane and Faith Flesher; best friend, Debbie Albert of Spencer; sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Jim Pennekamp; brothers and sisters-in-law, Greg and Carol Rupp, Randall and Rhoda Rupp, Daniel and Diane Rupp all of Cincinnati, OH. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 5 in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer. Burial, with military honors, will be in the Eventide Cemetery, Spencer.
