RITCHIE CO. GETS $4 MILLION LOAN FOR COURTHOUSE IMPROVEMENTS

Ritchie County will be making some major improvements at their county courthouse. USDA Rural Development has approved a Community Facilities Direct Loan of $4,033,000 for the Ritchie County Building Commission. Rural Development funds will be used to assist in constructing a judicial annex to serve the residents of Ritchie County. The annex will house the Family Court, Magistrate Court, Prosecuting Attorney and the Assessor. The project will also modify the current County Courthouse Facility so that it complies with the American Disabilities Act and Fire Codes.
