BECKLEY SHOOTING - A Beckley man is dead and and a suspect is behind bars after a shooting in Beckley Tuesday afternoon.
Gaston Smith III allegedly shot another man at the intersection of Mulberry and Cannaday Street around 4:30 p.m.
Neighbors said they heard Smith and the victim arguing.
The victim's name has not been released. He was taken to the hospital where he later died.
Smith is charged with first degree murder and is currently being held in the Southern Regional Jail without bond. |
