WV KNIFE AND GUN CLUB - Salem Man Critical After Stabbing, Mason Man Shot To Death

SALEM STABBING - The Harrison County Sheriff's Department arrested Richard Ahlgrim, 46 of West Union in the stabbing of Michael Moore, 32, of Salem.

Moore is listed in critical condition at Ruby Memorial Hospital, according to the sheriff's department.

The incident happened just before 9:30 p.m. Sunday on East Main Street in Salem.

Police said the stabbing came about following an argument over money in the yard between Moore's house and a neighbor's house.

Ahlgrim fled the scene and was arrested in West Union.

Ahlgrim has been charged with malicious wounding is in the North Central Regional Jail.

MASON MAN SHOT TO DEATH - A man is dead after a shooting in Mason County Monday afternoon in the Glenwood area.

Dead is Shane A. Meadows, 25.

Sheriff Greg Powers says the man who pulled the trigger does live in the home where the shooting happened.

The suspect has been taken for questioning.

No other details available.

WOMAN STRUCK BY STRAY BULLET - Kanawha County deputies are investigating a shooting that happened Monday night in St. Albans.

911 says a woman walked into CAMC Memorial with a gunshot wound, saying she was struck by a stray bullet.

Deputies say she told hospital workers she thought she had been hit by a stray bullet on the West Side of St. Albans.
