WIRT MAN HELD ON $100,000 WITH METH CHARGES

Wirt County authorities have arrested a man related to meth-making.

Stephen Jerome Anderson, 54, is in North Central Regional Jail with bond set at $100,000.

Anderson has been charged with operating or attempting to operate a meth lab.

He has also been charged with possession of precursors related to manufacturing meth.

- William Leon Rhodes, 46, of Roane County is in Central Regional Jail charged with DUI-3, with bond set at $5,000.

- Rocky Lee Townsend, 52, of Gilmer County is in Central Regional Jail charged with domestic assault by threats. Bail has not been set.
