FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR REGION THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT - Flooding Stikes Lizemore Sunday, Parishioners Stranded In Church

A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect through late Monday night for the region.

The Clay County community of Lizemore experienced flooding Sunday, with 50 members of the Laurel Fork Missionary Baptist stranded in the flooded church for an hour.

The community was flooded with water over roads and in yards, but with no major damage to structures.
