CALHOUN MUSIC MAKERS RISE TO TOP, AGAIN - Winning Dozens Of Awards This Year

Spencer Heritage Days drew a large crowd from the region last weekend.

Calhoun music makers rose to the top again at the festival, being recognized for their mountain music talent.

Lester McCumbers won 1st place for his fiddle playing in the over 50 contest.

Eugene Parsons won 1st place for his banjo playing in the over 50 contest.

Jake Krack won 1st place for his fiddle playing in the under 50 group.

This group and other Calhoun musicians continue to rise to the top and win recognition for their talent. They have won dozens of awards around the country this year.
