A 15-year-old Clay dirt bike rider was struck and killed by a car at Rt. 16 and Nebo School Road, south of the Calhoun-Clay county line, Tuesday evening, according to State Police.
Police say Robert Lee Bowman, 15, was riding his dirt bike when he pulled out in front of a car and was hit.
No charges will be filed against the driver of the car, authorities say the driver couldn't see Bowman before he pulled out on the road.
The youth was pronounced dead at the scene.
