MINNIE HAMILTON NURSING TEAM SELECTED TO PRESENT NATIONAL LEADERSHIP SUMMIT

(07/17/2013)

Sandra Ellis (left) and Leann Newell

Minnie Hamilton Health System (MHHS) nurses have been selected to participate in the 21st Annual Health Forum/American Hospital Association Leadership Summit by the Hospital Engagement Network (HEN).

Only 30 hospitals out of 130 were selected to present their successes in reducing harm to patients and/or decreasing re-admissions.

MHHS's presentation, titled Harm Across the Board, focuses on the team approach the hospital has taken to implement changes, collect data, and report improvements that have led to better patient care.

The presentation is scheduled for July 24, from 12:00-12:30 p.m., in San Diego, California. MHHS is very proud of their interdepartmental nursing team.
