George Glenn Cottrill, 85 - Chloe

George Glenn Cottrill, 85, of Chloe WV, went to be with the Lord Thursday, July, 11, 2013.

Glenn was born August 29, 1927 at Rosedale and was a son of the late General George Cottrill and Freda Dillon Cottrill.

He was retired from Rockwell International of Newton Falls, Ohio in 1976. He was a loving father, adored his grandchildren and was an excellent provider for his family. Glen loved to hunt and was the winner of the Ohio Big Buck Award in 1970. He was well loved by his family and friends. He attended the Five Forks Community Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Zella Dickey Cottrill who he married August 5, 1950. He was also preceded in death by a son, Rick.

Surviving are sons, Craig (Lana) Cottrill of Martinsburg WV and Ronald (Dorothy) Cottrill of Tacoma, Washington; two daughters, Crystal (Marty) Adamson of Windham OH and Heidi (John) Allen of Chloe; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 2:00 p.m. at the Nebo Baptist Church at Nebo with Rev. Dewey Tanner officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Stump Funeral Home in Arnoldsburg from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to the services at the church Tuesday.
