CALHOUN LAW ENFORCEMENT RESPOND TO SHOTS FIRED ON ALTIZER ROAD

Four Calhoun law enforcement officers responded to a disturbance on Altizer Road Friday night about 10:30 p.m., the 911 caller reporting shots fired. Two State Police officers, Calhoun Sheriff Carl Ballengee and Natural Resource Police officer Charles Stephens responded to the residence. The incident happened on Altizer Rd. a few miles from Arnoldsburg (US 33-119). The officers investigated the incident. The Grantsville VFD responded to an accident on Leading Creek Road at 4:23 p.m. Friday where a car clipped a telephone pole, with no injury.
