CLAY MAN CHARGED AFTER "PILL MILL" INVESTIGATION - Beasley Next Door Neighbor To Man Police Shot Last Week

(07/04/2013)
A Clay County man who lives next door to a man who was shot and killed last week by police serving a federal search warrant, has been charged after a 7-month investigation into his drug activity.

Ballas "Tom" Beasley, 68, is in Central Regional Jail, on drug charges, with bail set at $90,000.

Police say Beasley is part of a ring of drug dealers selling pills.

Beasley lives next door to Richard Kohler, 66, who was shot and killed by a state trooper last week when authorities were using a search warrant to enter his property and police say he presented a gun.

Beasley faces multiple counts of possession with the intent to deliver.

Beasley's son has also been arrested on drug charges and is in jail.
