THE TOLL OF CANCER - Remembering Those Taken, Those Who Have Survived

The lighting of candles in memory of those who have been taken Saturday's 2013 Relay for Life, held at Brooksville Baptist's Family Life Center, recalled hundreds of Calhoun citizens and families that have been affected by cancer. Cancer has affected the lives of virtually every Calhoun family. The most moving part of the fundraising event is the lighting of luminary candles in the deceased's memory, with the event being driven by cancer survivors who yearn for a cure for the disease.
