Bruce Hansen Starcher, 92 - Uneeda

Bruce Hansen Starcher, 92, of Uneeda, passed away June 27, 2013 at Boone Memorial Hospital in Madison. He was a US Navy Veteran of WWII. He was a coal miner and Boone County Deputy Sheriff. He is preceded in death by his parents, A.J. Starcher and Della Mae Gibson Starcher. Three brothers; Boyd, Berthal and Bethal Starcher. One sister, Mildred Atkinson. Bruce's wife, Emmadee Edgell Starcher passed away in 2011. Surviving are two daughters, Shirley (Donald) Woody and Geneva Starcher. Granddaughters; Karissa (Cliff) Workman, Misty (Russell) Kuhn, Sarah Woody (Roger Vannoy). Great grandchildren; Megan Gunnoe, Elijah Gunnoe, Zachary Bruce Gunnoe, Rowan Bruce Woody and Josie Vannoy. A great-great granddaughter, Marlee Meyers. One brother, Bobby Starcher and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday, 2:00pm, at the Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville with Rev. Delmas Stutler officiating. Interment will follow in the Wright Cemetery at Cremo. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services.
