MINNIE HAMILTON ANNOUNCES CLINIC UPDATES

As a patient centered medical home, Minnie Hamilton Health System has implemented a new "Designated Provider" program to assist with walk-in patients in the Clinic. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday 8 am-6pm and Saturday and Sunday from 8 am-4 pm. Patients are encouraged to make an appointment with their primary provider whenever possible. If a patient comes in as a walk-in, the following program will be used. During the week, there will be a provider designated each day to see all walk-in patients who are not deemed emergent from 10 am-6 pm in the Clinic. On the weekend, all walk-in patients who are not emergent will be treated as a Clinic patient from 8 am-4 pm. Before or after those hours will be treated as an Emergency Room visit. Minnie Hamilton Health System is an open-access facility and patients are encouraged to ask for an appointment to assist with being seen in a timely manner.
