GRANTSVILLE COUNCIL HEARS COMPLAINT ON POLICE CHIEF

The Grantsville Council deliberated on a complaint filed against Grantsville police chief Andy Walker. Mayor Curtis Garretson said that while he has direct supervision of the police chief, he felt council members should review the formal complaint. The incident, reportedly involving a juvenile, was recorded on video surveillance cameras at the Calhoun Courthouse, and reportedly happened during the Calhoun Wood Festival. Council members viewed the recording. Following the review of the complaint, Garretson said no action would be taken at this time.
