Robert Lee Radar, 67, of Glenville, West Virginia, died Tuesday, August 20, 2002 at his home following a long battle with cancer.
He is a son of Eulia Jarvis Rader of Mt. Zion, WV and the late James Coy Rader.
He worked most of his life as a truck driver and construction worker. He took an early retirement from Ace Pipeline Construction Co., Ontario, CA.
He was preceded in death in addition to his father by one sister, Elizabeth Vasquez and two sons, Robert Allen Rader and Norman Charles McGirr.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Lou Rader of Glenville, daughters, Debra Ann Schneck of Upland, CA and Launa Avenell Mead of Klamoth Falls, OR; one son, Jeffrey Steven Rader of Pion Hills, CA and his mother Eulia Rader. Also surviving are two sisters, Judy Bowman and Jean Pitts both of Grantsville, WV; five brothers, Charles and Homer Rader both of Ohio, Tom Rader of Annamoriah, WV, Jim and Russ Rader both of CA; thirteen grandchildren and two great grandaughters.
Funeral services will be held at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, WV, August 25 at 3 p.m. Minister Brian Connaughton will officiate. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. prior to the service. The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
