Martha Alice Riffle, 67 - Glenville

Martha Alice Riffle age 67 of Glenville, West Virginia, departed this life at 3:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 18, 2013, in the Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia, following an extended illness.

Born June 20, 1945 in Braxton County, West Virginia, daughter of the late Francis T. and Ethel G. Nicholson Riffle.

Alice enjoyed making crafts, watching game shows, Soap Opera's, and WVU Football on TV. She was also a Baptist by faith.

Surviving are 3 daughters, Karen Frame and husband Joe of Stouts Mills WV, Shirley and Donna Riffle both of Glenville; 1 son, Edwin "Bub" Dennison of Glenville; 1 half sister, Mary Ann Howes of Weston WV; 6 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Along with her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her long term companion, Oscar L. Dennison; and 5 brothers, Johnny, Ray, Early, George, and Raymond Riffle

Funeral services will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary Inc, 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville WV 26351 at 12-noon Saturday June 22, 2013 with Pastor Bryan Groves officiating. Burial will follow in the Cottrill Family and Friends Cemetery on Sliding Run Road (Stouts Mills Community). Friends may call from 10-12 the funeral hour at the Mortuary.

Ellyson Mortuary inc. is assisting the family of Martha Alice Riffle with arrangements.
